Dr. Judyta Latymowicz

Co-Chair

Advocate, lecturer, expert on South Asia, member of Warsaw Bar Association, head of India Desk at smart.lawyers group. She graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Warsaw and completed postgraduate studies in European Academy of Diplomacy. She also earned a master’s and doctoral degree at the Faculty of Oriental Studies, University of Warsaw (speciality: Indian Studies).

She specialises in civil and commercial law with particular focus on contract law, issues related to launching new products, ecommerce and IP law as well as day-to-day legal advisory for business entities. She also has a vast experience in handling court cases, including transboundary litigation.

She regularly advises a range of clients across a variety of sectors. In particular, she advises foreign business entities, as well as Polish businesses planning to invest in India.

Michał Liżewski

Co-Chair

Advocate, graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration, Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, also completed postgraduate studies in real estate management. He specialises in providing legal services for infrastructural projects pursued within public-private partnership (PPP), concessions and special purpose vehicles as well as traditional public procurement.

Gaining recognition of both public and private clients, he successfully advised on pilot investments of public-private partnership in Poland which were finalised with a PPP agreement and granted financial closing. He also advises on external markets investments, using experience acquired in foreign markets, i.a. Ukrainian. He publishes texts and speaks at conferences and trainings devoted to PPP.

Michał gives legal advice to public clients, service providers, manufacturers and technology providers, within both day-to-day legal services and implementation of innovative projects, both in public and private sector.

Bartłomiej Tkaczyk

Vice-Chair

Attorney-at-Law, graduate of doctoral studies at Institute of Law Studies Polish Academy of Sciences; graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Silesia in Katowice and postgraduate studies: Master of Business Administration (MBA) and European financial, economic and law relations at Warsaw School of Economics (SGH); a long-time administration employee as a member of the management team.

He gives legal advice to the public, private and NGO (non-governmental organizations) clients. Bartłomiej specializes in providing legal services: contracts for construction works, the administrative law, agreements co-financed from EU funds, environmental law and in negotiations.

He has experience in advising for investments of public-private partnership (PPP), speaks at conferences and trainings related to PPP, not only in Poland, but also abroad. He participated in the process of selecting a private partner of both: public and private clients. He managed the implementation of the first PPP project in Poland, co-financed from public funds.

Jakub Sikora

Secretary

Jakub Sikora is an attorney-at-law. Prior to opening his own law firm Dulewski Sikora he was working for several years for the largest law firms country and world-wide.

He specializes mainly in corporate and business matters, including company's formation, due diligence investigations and M&A transactions. He advised in transactions for the total amount exceeding PLN 0.5 billion.

His professional practice focuses also on ongoing corporate services and on opening businesses for foreign investors in Poland. He has worked for investment funds, foreign investors and start-ups.

He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and postgraduate studies in public procurement at the Leon Koźminski University in Warsaw.

He speaks English and French fluently.

Tomasz Dulewski

Member

Tomasz Dulewski is a founder of the law firm Dulewski Sikora. He has more than 13 years of experience in providing legal assistance. Prior to opening his own law firm in 2015 he was working for the largest law firms in Poland.

Tomasz specializes in business law. He is an expert in M&A who advised in transactions of a value exceeding one hundred million EUR. His area of expertise includes also advising to foreign investors on doing business in Poland. He has represented investment funds, foreign corporations and individual investors.

Tomasz is a graduate of the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics of the University of Wrocław and a 2 year course on English law and European Union law run by the University of Cambridge in cooperation with the University of Wrocław. He finished the course with the best result in Europe in 2006 defeating all 164 graduates.

He speaks English and Spanish.
